Yayu Gao 高雅玙

Dr. Yayu Gao received her BS degree from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2009, and the PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from City University of Hong Kong in 2014, supervised by Prof. Lin Dai. Since 2014, she has been with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where she is currently an associate professor. She is also a supervisor of Dian Group. From Oct. 2017 to Sept. 2018, she visited FuNLab at Univeristy of Washington, Seattle, United States, where she collaborated with Prof. Sumit Roy on heterogeneous networks coexistence. Her current research interests mostly focus on next-generation wireless communications and networking, 6G, Future WiFi, network intelligence and AI+.
