Dr. Zhang Received his M.S. degree in Signal and Information Processing from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2004 and his Ph.D. degree in Communication and Information Systems from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2007. In 2007, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada, as a Postdoctoral Researcher. He is presently an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic Information and Communications, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. In the past few years he has started a series of research programs including NSFC, and the amount of funding obtained is more than 10 Million RMB. Dr. Zhang also actively cooperates with the researchers around the world. His research interests include computer vision, image processing, intelligent transportation systems, and artificial intelligence.
