Internet Technology and Engineering R&D Center

The Internet Technology and Engineering R&D Center (ITEC), which is supported by the School of Electronic Information and Communications of HUST, mainly research in Detection and Recognition of Intelligent Signal, Multimedia Network Information Processing, High-speed Internet Content Control, New Technology of Wireless Communication Network and Modern Service based on Internet and etc. The Lab owns more than 1500 square meters research base and about 200 students and teachers, emphasizes both the theoretical research and practice development simultaneously, pay attention to international exchanges and cooperation, take dozens of research topic including Natural Science Foundation, 863 Project, National Key Science and Technology, Enterprise commissioned development project and Research topic with international cooperation. The Lab has made a series of high-level research achievements in fields including sensor, weak light signal detection and recognition system, home wireless multimedia gateway, high-speed context packet filtering system, large ERP software system and Network Education Resources Service System, parts of which have already been industrialized.
